If I had a million dollars, the first thing I would do obviously is jump up and down and run down the street yelling I'm rich! The first thing I would buy though, is a money printer. This would be awesome because then I could have as much money as I wanted! I would try to do it legally but I may have to resort to producing money illegally.
Now your probably wondering where I'm going to put this money printer, which leads into the next thing I would do. I would build a huge underground safe made almost entirely out of kryptonite. To obtain the kryptonite I would simply buy NASA and send a ship into space, travel through a black hole to go back in time to before krypton (Superman's planet) was destroyed, steal all the kryptonite, and possibly blow their planet up if they try and follow us back to earth. Then my team of scientists will start production on my safe/man cave thing. Then not even Superman would be able to stop me! Finally, I would hire scientists to make me invincible, super strong, and be able to fly. Then I could become a superhero, called Superguy, and get paid by the world for beating up bad guys. In conclusion, I would have an infinite amount of money, in a safe that no one can break into, and be the most powerful strong and awesome guy in the world. Pretty unrealistic- I know, but pretty sweet.

1. I think the "Aha Moment" of Raymond's Run, was when she figured out her brother would be good at running. I think this, because even though Squeaker didn't directly say "Aha!", she figured out that he actually is a pretty good runner. This could also be called an inference because her brother doesn't directly show he's a fast runner, she figured it out with educated guesses.
2. Exposition- The story introduces squeaky and her brother, and tells us she's a very fast runner, and her brother has a mental disability Rising Action- Squeaky and her brother run into Gretchen and three other girls, who debate who will win the May Day race. Squeaky goes to the starting line of the race, and puts her brother on a nearby swing. Climax- The gun fires to start the race. Squeaky is close to Gretchen, but ahead. Her brother is running beside her on the side. Squeaky comes in first! Falling Action- Squeaky and Gretchen acknowledge each other and how well they did. Resolution- Squeaky realizes her brother would a make a good runner. 3. a.) How do you know if something is worth effort? Give an example of a time when you worked hard for something. Why was it worth it? - You know if something is worth effort if you think the outcome would be worth it. An example of this is when I wrote a four page paper on why I think I should have a phone, and presented it to my parents. This was definitely worth it because now it's much easier to communicate with my family and friends. b.) Give an example of an Aha Moment you recently had. (Think of the "lightbulb" going off right above your head) How did this change your situation? - I was playing hangman with one of my friends. what I had so far was m i _ r o o r _ a _ i s m . A "lightbulb" went off and I realized that it was microorganism. This changed the situation because I guessed the word before the guy got hung. c.) Think of someone (or yourself) that may have a disability. How has this disability affected how this person is judged (or explain maybe how it doesn't). - My sister was diagnosed with celiac disease last year, which means she can't eat gluten. I can't recall anyone judging her, but some people may judge her and think that they can get celiac disease from her, or she's not as smart as other people. |
